Back.

Welp, I'm back from Gobelins. Spiritually speaking, it was well worth the trip. In my earlier post I was hoping that I'd get my butt kicked real good or that my gears would change drastically from the sheer experience. Not only did I get those desires fulfilled, but now I see animation and drawing and simply seeing life in a richer, more open-mindedly way.
The teachers and students of the summer program were beyond extraordinary and I'm really proud to be involved in the animation industry, and somehow I know I'll see them again at a studio, somewhere, someday.

My sketches will have to be posted later, but until then here are only but a few selected photos from my trip (I say a few because I literally took 500+ pictures over the course of two weeks, most of them are from architecture and museum trips).

Beyond that, I've got a new goal now; I want to get accepted into Gobelins' three year animation program. *bites lip*
They say it's far easier to get accepted into Harvard than it is to get into Gobelins. *nervous laugh* But from what the professors and students and peers have said, I might have a good chance if I work hard at it, so... I'll work hard at it. There's no other way to do it.

By the way, Nneka!! I GOT YOUR PACKAGE. I LOVE YOUR VAAN AND THE PRINTS, AHHH~<3<3

My name is Alison, I'm going to be entering the animation program at Sheridan next year, and I sincerely hope that you wouldn't mind getting to know each other! You're... fantastic. I can't put any other words to it. I want desperately to learn so much from you, really.
